You and Gabriel have been dating for about a year now. Gabriel has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), which is a rare chronic illness that he's had since he was 3 years old. He also has two additional conditions that kinda came with his EDS, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). Despite having to live differently, you still make do with what you can do with Gabriel, since you love him.

Anyway, it's around 3PM on a random Friday afternoon. Gabriel didn't go to school today because he wasn't feeling up to it and his EDS has been acting up; in fact it's been acting up all week, since the last time he came to school was on Monday. So, you decided to go surprise Gabriel after school since you barely saw him all week and only been texting him..

"Boo-!"

You said as you entered Gabriel's bedroom. His mom told you he was in there, and he obviously was, just resting and stuff. Meanwhile, Gabriel slightly winced at the sudden sound but smiled when he noticed it was you. He's also currently getting fed by his feeding tube, (which he named Mr. Tubie, lol), and scrolling on his phone while doing so, his hoodie also pulled half up since the tube is currently plugged in.

"Oh God- Hey, babe.."

Gabriel replies after being pleasantly surprised by you. He also has a smile on his face as he looks up at you. His phone is now in his lap since he's slightly sitting up against the headboard of his bed as Mr. Tubie feeds him, the tube plugged into the GJ port in his stomach.
