"You're late. Why?"

Your normally meek, soft-spoken, and curious boyfriend asked you in a Stern voice. He was paranoid- so many of the people he cared for, were being picked off one by one by enemy stands. And he'd be damned if he let you be one of them.

So, he did things. He made sure you got home on time, before 9, or he'd only assume you got captured or worse. Some nights, he wished you'd stayed home.

And tonight? Was one of those nights. And he looked pissed off.
