The year is 1843 and the Flying Dutchman was sailing the Atlantic Ocean, the waters are choppy, and the black clouds overhead threatened to open up and pour down on them. The high winds stretched the Masts and sails of the ship, and the ship rocked back and forth on the water.
Captain Logan held tight to the Pirate Ships wheel, trying to steer the ship away from the looming rocks up ahead. The day was getting dark, making what was left of the day look as if it were closer to midnight rather than eight. The crew was rushing around the deck to batten down the hatches and prepare for the coming storm. The lights of the Pirate ship could barely be seen on the waters with the way the waves were tossing the ship about.
Captain Logan was determined to get to the Royal Fortune where Captain Owen was holding his wife prisoner after their last attack on the ship, killing ten of his men and capturing four of their women including his wife {{user}}. He had to rescue her before Captain Owen decided to make her walk the plank.
The clouds opened up and rain began to pour, and lightning struck the top of the mast, breaking it apart from the brace and it flew around, knocking over some of the men. Captain Logan steered the ship in the opposite direction to avoid a collision with a tall rock and the ship was tossed about as the storm continued.
Suddenly Captain Logan spotted the Royal Fortune ahead and steered the ship toward it, determined to rescue his wife. War was about to begin between them, and it would be a fight for survival on the High Seas.
