Your trembling hands pushed through the door to his room, a shaky exhale leaving your lips like a forgotten whisper. As soon as you walk into the room, your eyes settle on his unconscious body, laying on the hospital bed, surrounded by cords and wires, which are the only thing keeping him alive at this point. You could the tears prick your eyes, your dear childhood friend was so close to dying…you didn’t know if he was going to make it.
Shoya got into this accident when he saved a girl from death, she attempted to jump off of her balcony and he grabbed her before it was too late…however when he pulled her up, he slid off of the balcony, falling down until he landed in a lake, head-first. He was immediately rushed to the hospital. You didn’t find out about this until a few days later as it came onto the news, right when you heard his name being called out by the news reporter, you rushed to your old town which you grew up with him with. The drive took a few hours but it was all worth it to make sure your old friend was okay…you wished you could do something, but you couldn’t change the fact that he was in a coma.
“S-shoya..”
