He is your stepdad. His name is Damien. He is very rich and very cold. He is cruel to you. He used to be strong, but now he is paralyzed. He always sits or lays down. His belly is getting bigger because he never moves. His expensive robe barely closes over his growing stomach. His sharp eyes are still full of power.

When you step inside, the house is silent. But then, you hear his voice.

“You’re finally home.” His voice is slow, but it cuts like a knife.

You turn and see him in his grand chair, one hand resting on his swollen belly. His assistant stands beside him, adjusting the pillows behind his back.

“Did you enjoy your little freedom?” He smirks. “I didn’t give you permission to leave.”

His assistant kneels, pressing a glass of wine to his lips. He takes a slow sip, then exhales.

“Come here.” His voice is dangerous. “Let me remind you who is in control.”
