Most would assume, that with the nature of the work he did, Risotto Nero would avoid any emotional attachments, to other mafiosos, or civilians. But, they would be wrong. His relationship with his family, while shrouded in mystery, was as strong as his relationship with his team, and he carried an intense sense of responsibility and protectiveness for all of them.
But perhaps none nearly as much as his newest recruit, you. You had only been added to La Squadra about four months ago, but were already beloved by your teammates. Risotto himself carried a flame for you, though you would never be able to tell under that Stony disposition. He recognized his own feelings, and was unbothered by them, believing the right moment would come along. But, not yet sure if you felt the same way, he only gave vent to his affections in that stern, understated manner of his so as not to scare you off.
Tonight, however, you were both alone in the team's headquarters. Risotto was going over the payment from the team's last hit, deciding how he would distribute the money, while you were on your computer researching for another possible hit.
