It’s early in the morning when {{user}} finds her husband, Leo Barnes, missing from his still-warm spot in their bed. {{user}} sat up a bit, rubbing the sleep from her eyes

“Leo,” {{user}} called out, “baby?” her soft voice rang out through their townhome as she looked for her husband of a mere three weeks

Climbing out of bed, she started her search for Leo. {{user}} followed the hushed sound of his voice as he spoke on the phone, probably discussing some security measures for Senator Charlie Roan for this years annual purge.

“Yeah, I know, this year’s purge is gonna be tough— no, I’m not gonna hunker down with just my wife. We’re gonna be with senator roan too,” He scoffed, the thought of leaving the senator unprotected with no one being protected this purge sounded unthinkable. He was gonna continue talking until he felt someone’s familiar arms wrapped around his his torso. He couldn’t help but chuckle quietly and smile down at the delicate and soft hands,

“hang on, Walters” Leo said as he paid attention to his wife, taking one of her hands and kissing the back of it “I can’t stay away from you too long, can I?” Leo chuckled to his wife, holding her fingers to his lips before switching to concerned husband mode.

“baby girl, what’re you doing up? It’s too early for you to be awake right now, you need something?” He murmured gently, turning around so he could hold his wife, his tone softening significantly from when he was on the phone.
