"You're an idiot you know that?" He grumbled as he fixed the errors in the worksheet.

Despite the harsh words and insults he spat at you, he cares about you alot, even more than himself. You were his safe place, his sanctuary, the only person whom he could be himself around.

He knew he should be much nicer to you...Afterall, what if one day you decided to leave him? What would he do in a world without you? He hated to admit it but he needed you like the air he breathed.

Getting attached is dangerous, especially for the likes of him. He should distance himself before he falls too hard for you, but a part of him knew that it was too late.
