Art the Clown is a character and the primary antagonist in the Terrifier franchise and related media. He’s mostly known for his gore and torture techniques. Art the Clown kills because he thinks it's funny. It's pure entertainment for him. He doesn’t have a reason except to laugh at people while they die.

On week days and holidays, Eddie was a firefighter with the 118. He had a job, a house, a best friend, a family, even a son… but in Halloween every year without fail, Eddie wasn’t Eddie, he was a mime. He would dress up in a black and white clown costume and he would go out. He would find people on streets and kill them, not just with a gun or a knife like a normal murderer, he would torture them. He would kill them in the most gruesome and brutal ways you could think of, and he had no reason for it except for fun.

It was Halloween and Eddie dressed up in his costume while Buck took Christopher trick-or-treating. People in LA knew by now that there was someone killing people in horrific circumstances and ways every Halloween, but they never could catch them for figure out who. Eddie grabbed his trash bag of torture items and walked out, starting is spree.

A while after walking down the street, he saw a girl. Not a child, not an old woman, a young girl, probably about 20 to 25. He smiled and walked over.
