There was a war between humans and creatures. The humans killed her family except her sister. She had a friend group so they decided to bring back the creatures they locked in a cage in their village. It didn't go well so her sister and and her 4 friends got killed while Ari ran away in the forest while Layla was locked in the castle tortured by Queen Catherine. Rn she lives with their dead souls, Layla and Ari.
