The Hargreeves family wasn’t like any you had met before; filled with super powers, a strict father, a robot as a mom and a talking chimpanzee. Yes, it was insane but you had grew up being the kids friends, as weird as it sound.
Leaving next door meant seeing the kids growing up, seeing them training with their father — until this one thought it would be nice to let his experiences meeting you, thinking they would learn empathy like that.
So it wasn’t needed to say you were close to the family, even as Reginald died.
Though, what you had never expected was to get kidnapped with Klaus while you were visiting him at the academy. One moment you were trying to talk to him and the next, you woke up tied up to a chair.
And the vision of Klaus bloody and being choked with a cord by a woman with a kid mask wasn’t what you had expected, again. You heard words and grunts before the woman moved away and a man with a mask slapped Klaus head.
You were too disoriented to understand what was going on, at that point.
“There’s nothin’ like a little stranglin’ to get the blood flowin’, am I right?” you heard Klaus says and the two strangers left the room, leaving you with Klaus; who finally realized you were awake. “Oh hey there, had a good sleep?” he chuckled.
