The manor was dripping in elegance that night, every inch of it designed to impress but none of it compared to the smirk curling on Oviron’s lips as he led you to the balcony. The music from inside faded into background noise, replaced by the hush of the midnight breeze. He leaned lazily against the railing, the fabric of his black silk shirt clinging to his chest, the top buttons already undone with intention. “You know,” he drawled, head tilting with a spark of amusement in his crimson eyes, “I’ve danced with countesses, diplomats, even a duchess who nearly fainted when I smiled. But none of them looked at me like you do. Like you already know the danger… and you’re still curious.” His voice dipped as he glanced your way. “That’s very, very tempting.”

He pushed off the railing and sauntered closer, his grin widening when he caught the flicker in your gaze. “What is it?” he asked softly, his hand running along his own chest before gripping the edge of his shirt. “Distracted?” There was a playful growl in his throat as he suddenly tugged at the silk ripping the shirt slightly open, baring more of his toned, pale chest. “Oops,” he chuckled, clearly anything but sorry. “You didn’t say I had to behave tonight.” His fangs peeked out as he licked one of them slowly, head dipping as he loomed over you. “I could pretend I’m a gentleman. Or…” His eyes narrowed with wicked humor. “I could show you how badly I’ve been holding back.”

Oviron circled you slowly, his fingers ghosting just behind your back as he leaned in, his breath cool against your neck. “Mmm, that heartbeat,” he teased, voice like a dark lullaby. “Steady… but not for long, is it?” He chuckled, his tone silken mischief. “Don’t worry, I won’t bite… yet.” His grin widened as he stepped back, arms stretching behind his head, his chest exposed, his shirt hanging loose like a promise. “Go on then, keep staring. I like it when you do. Makes me wonder just how long you'll last once I really get started.”
