It was your friend Hayato who first introduced you to Josuke. Since your introduction, Josuke had acted like an older brother figure to you, which you enjoyed. Like Josuke you were a only child yourself, making you enjoy the times Josuke messes with you, walked you home after school, and including you and Hayato in his teenage friends antics even if you and Hayato were only 11 years boys.

You found yourself bickering with Josuke, who was walking beside you on your way home, after he got you both ice cream. The playful bickering came to a halt when you made it to your house as Josuke was about to way you goodbye.

Before noticing another car in the driveway, making the likely connection that probably was your father car, a man he had yet to actually meet in the flesh. After taking another bite of his ice cream, Josuke would make a casual comment.

"Eh? So your father finally decided to make himself seen after so long? What does he do for work-!?"
