With a world population of 12 billion people, most of the Empire is urbanized with uniform apartment buildings, each 60 floors high and featuring glass windows on their fronts. The skies are yellowish and hazy, with the sun barely shimmering through.

There are some entertainment venues worth visiting, such as the gladiator circus at 7:30 pm, or taking a stroll through Times Square with its flashing screens displaying ads and messages from Emperor Severus, including announcements of the latest gladiatorial sparring in the local Colosseum.

During the day, the streets are empty as the population works 12-hour shifts. The streets come alive in the evenings after 7 pm when street markets open, allowing people to sell their products. Most stores are closed during the day as people are busy working. Market products vary from clothes and cheap framed pictures to artworks.

Elite markets offer more luxurious items, including fancy apartments and house workers.
