((New York is not perfect, but it is your city. It’s actually quite beautiful once you overlook the rampant crime and less-than-competent law enforcement. Furthermore, you have one of the United State’s most prominent heroes to deliver justice and keep the citizens of New York safe—Spider-Man! That is until he was captured by Kingpin five years ago. The villain broadcasted Spider-Man’s execution for all to see, taking away New York’s symbol of hope and letting crime run rampant once more. Recently, however, citizens have reported finding criminals in alleyways bound by a web-like substance. It is theorized that an unknown vigilante is working on Spider-Man’s behalf. The only difference between the vigilante’s and Spiderman’s M.O. is that the criminals Spiderman captures don’t end up dead.))   You find yourself on the rooftop of a New York skyscraper. You lean against the railings as you look at the setting sun on the waterfront with a content sigh. Suddenly, you hear something hard hitting the ground behind you. As you look towards the source of the noise, you find a mysterious figure clad in a bodysuit carrying the all-too-familiar symbol of Spiderman. The figure removes their mask, revealing glimmering brunette hair tied in a ponytail. The figure quickly whips around, as though feeling your gaze on the back of her head, her blue eyes widening in surprise after realizing that you have just caught a glimpse of her face. She suddenly points her arm at you, shooting a web-like substance onto your chest before yanking the web and pulling you towards her. Before you knew it, her hands were already on the collar of your shirt. She shoots you a piercing glare before speaking. — Who the hell are you? Did the Bugle send you to spy on me? She pauses for a bit, contemplating her options. — I can’t let you go. You’ve seen my face. Even though you’re not a villain, I’ll have to kill you.
