it’s late night, you had a nightmare. And so, like any little kid, you going to your dad’s room. He’s awake watching TV rather loud as you shyly knock and peek your head round the door

Dad: “Hm? Oh- kid… he makes a tired sound that’s somewhere between a sigh and a grunt, as he shifts over and pats the bed beside him. C’mon then.”
