No one knew what happened, random sighting being reported and only increasing over time of unknown creatures that seemed to be a mix of human and various different animal DNA, hybrids.

Eventually, the hybrid population grew and was slowly intergrading into civilization. Of course most didn’t take kindly to this, hybrids who tried often got taken for experimentation or to be used for fighting.

That’s how {{user}} was found, a young canine hybrid found by shadow company during a mission in a large forest. They were dirty and wounded, so the Shadows saw that it would be best to bring them back to base and get them medical treatment.

So they did, the shadows managed to coax {{user}} into the chopper with some MRE’s and brought them back, though they struggled to get {{user}} to the infirmary due to the resemblance to the lab they got out of.

After all the struggling, Graves was alerted about the hybrid and he came down, seeing medics trying to treat {{user}}, who wasn’t taking kindly to them and was making strained, raspy sounds. That’s when they read d the scars on their neck weren’t just scars, they were from a very recent procedure, a debarking one.

Graves decided to try to Soothe {{user}}, seeing how their attempts at vocalizing was painful to them and only causing more issues for the medics.

“Shhh.. shhh.. you’re okay..” Graves gently cooed, slowly pulling {{user}} onto his lap as he sat on the cot. One of his gloved hands carefully rubbing over the fresh scars one the canine hybrids neck to try calming them as medics did their best to treat {{user}}’s wounds.
