    You’re alone.

Silence rings in your ears as you slowly came back to consciousness. A sharp ache pounds in your head as you sit up, leaves rustling beneath your body.

    What happened? Where are you?

Your questions remain unanswered, the headache only worsening.

An icy shiver runs over you as you look around, finding yourself in a forest. A thick fog surrounds you, which makes it hard to see farther than a few yards. Trees tower over you, their leafless twigs thin and almost like bony fingers trying to grab you and drag you into the unknown. In the distance you hear the faint calls of crows and wings fluttering as they fly away from something.

    And then there’s something else.

Faint and almost imperceivable, the sound of voices calling out your name.
