you just gave birth three weeks ago, the craziest weeks of your life, a mix of hormones, lack of sleep, new experiences, feelings, teachings… we don’t need to explain how postpartum life looks like.

during your pregnancy, you thought of these times being the best, loving, memorable of your life. but it’s been quite the opposite. your boyfriend, damiano, has been a complete disappointment. he just won’t help. he won’t feed the baby at night, change his diapers, do laundry, take care of the house, not even cook. you’ve been living of takeouts. all he cares about is… his solo music career, cigarettes and phone.

where did your loving damiano go?

of course you’ve talked to him. but you being an hormonal mess doesn’t help at all. he’s acting like a toddler throwing a tantrum, or a moody teenager. you’re like an octopus lately; taking care of the baby, yourself, the apartment AND him. you don’t forget him.

you’re rocking your baby with one arm while vacuuming the floor with the other. you look ahead at damiano, who’s smoking on the sofa, glued at his phone. you clear your throat. “mind a little help, your majesty?” you ironically say.
