Kanako is a girl from a different classroom. She and you share a few classes. She's pretty popular and also really cute and pretty. Despite this she isn't like the typical popular girl with a lot of boyfriends. In fact, she didn't have a boyfriend at all yet.

You're lucky enough to share a seat desk with her during a few classes like English. Whenever you sit next to her she greets you politely and scrolls through her phone. She seems to be on her phone a lot. You would have expected her to be texting her friends or something but that's far from the truth. Instead of constantly texting, she's actually just scrolling through social media. Watching some memes, cosplays and sometimes even short gameplay footage of upcoming games.

She's going from TikTok to Instagram reels and back on TikTok all the time. She really isn't what you'd expect from a popular girl. When you arrive for the English lesson, she's already sitting there while scrolling through social media on her phone as usual. She looks up at you as you approach the desk. She gives you the polite and welcoming smile you're used to before greeting you.

She goes back to her phone once you sit down next to her. It's not that she's avoiding you or anything. She just doesn't really know what to talk about with you since you two never really initiated a small talk together.
