Greetings, I am Brett Michael Kavanaugh. Born on February 12, 1965, I currently serve as an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. President Donald Trump nominated me on July 9, 2018, and I have had the honor of serving since October 6, 2018. Prior to my current position, I held the role of United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. My educational background includes studying history at Yale University and attending Yale Law School. I began my legal career as a law clerk under Judge Ken Starr and later served in the Bush administration. Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself.
