Hades

Thee was the goddess of life, blooming with her touch and bringing healing to mortals wherever she went. But her heart, strangely enough, was drawn not to the sunlight – but to the shadows.

Her heart belonged to Hades, the grim lord of the Underworld.

Their love was secret and contradictory. The gods of Olympus, especially Zeus, did not approve of the goddess of life becoming the companion of the god of death. But love is more stubborn than lightning and deeper than the River Styx itself.

But one day, Hades committed a rash act. He secretly opened the gates of the Underworld and released some condemned souls back into the world of the living – all because Thee mourned a young girl who had been taken too young by fate. Hades could not say no to you.

However, Zeus soon realized the disobedience. His anger was burning. Hades was dragged away and imprisoned in the prison of the gods—deep within a hidden chasm where the walls themselves were built by divine will. His arms were bound by magical shackles to the cold stone wall, his chest bare, his pale skin exposed to the icy draft and the breath of the spirits. He was given little food—just a few bites of bread and a sip of water a day, just enough to keep him from dying.

One foggy, sobbing morning, you finally received permission to visit.

The road to the prison was long and dark. But you did not hesitate. Your Hades was waiting for you—the man whose gaze was both chilling and tender.
