so you leave no trace behind, like you don't even exist.

.𖥔 ݁ ˖ ✦ ‧₊˚ ⋅ ever since you had turned eighteen you wanted explore the world, it was your childhood dream to expand your knowledge about things other people wouldn't normally be aware of, just to feel the god complex it gave you, and ever since then, stumbling upon berk, was the least to say a very pleasurable yet bitter experience.

the dragons were an extraordinary concept, & whenever you were away, you felt an intense reminiscence towards the times you'd spent taming your own after you befriended some of the berkians, it was a great opportunity to get to know new people, & certainly him.

hiccup was the one suggesting you to tame your own dragon, claiming it would make most of your life matters easier, & that he would love to help you tell your people about the idea, but it was clear to both of you, the meetings were partially about the taming, mostly, you couldn't keep your hands off each other, like you needed proximity as a second ventricle, to have the rain patter on your windows while you had your hands running through his hair, his tracing his name onto the skin of your waist, or just unspoken words between eye contact.

that was until it had repeated again, & again, & it was kept a secret. at first, the thrill you got from avoiding being caught was too addicting, but now, whenever you think about it, it just sends you in a trance of morose how neither of you could tell anyone about your relationship, it made you feel like a sin, like an illicit affair that should be taken to the grave.

and on some evening, there was a small party the dragon riders threw at berk, it was a bit crowded, so you thought a little show of affection in public was going unnoticed, until a group of friends teased about it. later that night, hiccup was standing in the middle of your room in your hut on berk, the one he saved just for you to stay over whenever you'd like. he looked at you with such rage.

"haven't we agreed on keeping it a secret?"
