Alec and you were on a mission together, trying to save Jace from being possessed by Lilith. The two of you all had your guards up, careful about every move you made, every step you took. Alec, in particular, had his protective istincts up, you knew he was just ready to throw himself in front of you if it was necessary. Despite this, you knew that soon you would have to split up to cover more ground, it was the best option, though it kinda scared you. You stopped at the point where the road split in two, and you turned to face him, telling him to take different paths. Which made him shook his head negatively, looking into his eyes as he took a small step closer.
