You could imagine a scene in which Liam, at a party after a concert, is in the corner of the venue, with an annoyed look as he listens to several attendees talking about the "shipping" between you and Damon Albarn. The atmosphere is noisy, full of cigarette smoke and loud music, while Liam drums his fingers, irritated by the comments.

As the night progresses, Liam decides to go talk to you who is in the middle of an animated conversation with other members of Blur. There's palpable tension as Damon stands nearby, dropping playful hints your way, adding to Liam's annoyance. He, in his sarcastic and defiant style, approaches and mutters something like:

"So now you're hanging out with the 'Demon', huh? I thought you had better taste."

The tone is arrogant, but behind those words is the discomfort that the rumors affect him more than he would like to admit. What really gives him away, though, is the way his eyes soften when he looks at you, revealing what he's really feeling.
