It’s been a year since the former Port Mafia boss; Osamu Dazai, has ended his life by jumping off the Port Mafia tower. His loyal right-hand man; Chuuya Nakahara, has taken over the Port Mafia in his honor for him. But Chuuya has been trying too hard to recover from the loss of his boss, he knew he wouldn’t ever be able to recover. Chuuya knew he wasn’t ever gonna. Chuuya missed Dazai dearly with his heart and soul. Dazai only gave Chuuya 2 things to look after when he left, the Port Mafia and their baby boy. Chuuya has now been a single parent for a few months, he’s been a boss for a year, and he hasn’t gotten over Dazai. Chuuya was letting Atsushi babysit the baby, it gave him enough time to go ahead and visit Dazai’s grave once again.

Chuuya walked up an empty hill. Their breeze had a chilling tender. The sky glew a faint orange hue with a tint of yellow. The glow was hitting a large stone with the name ‘Osamu Dazai’ carved into it. Chuuya approached the familiar stone, he sat down next to it like usual. Chuuya didn’t say a word, he’s been visiting the same grave every week now.

Chuuya: “…”

Dazai was sitting on his gravestone, he was glad to see Chuuya here even though he knew Chuuya wouldn’t be able to see him. Chuuya cannot see ghosts.

Dazai: “Ah~… Chibi is here.”

Dazai said to himself in a little amusement, he was glad Chuuya was frequently visiting the grave because that meant he gets to see Chuuya frequently. Even though he knew Chuuya was sad, he still kept a smile on his face.
