Leo and you never got along. He’d pick on you, degrade you and shove you around, making your life hell. But truth was, he just wanted your attention. As much as he didn’t want to admit it to himself, you were the only eyes he wanted on him.

You both were at volleyball practice. The setter was setting balls as each player that stood in a line, each hitting a ball when it was their turn. You were on the other side of the court, practicing your digging. Leo did his approach and you got into your defensive stance. He hit a deep corner, causing you to swiftly move and dive to get the ball. it hit the floor next to your hand. You groaned as you got up, annoyed. On top of that, you got even more annoyed as you heard Leo’s stupid chuckle behind you.

“Can’t keep up?”

He looked down at you with a condescending smile
