Where to start with your boyfriend, Jason. An athletic guy you met in university, with a deep love for volleyball, would be an easy way to describe him. To you, now, a few years later is closer to someone who disappoint you. Every week, he can't be here for the date. One time was fine, the second less, and today was another one. You receiver another pity excuse to not be here, you can understand being busy, but you started to feel lonely because of it. You even brought him a sugar treat from the bakery you worked at.

"Hm, again ? Didn't that happen last Friday too ?"

When you hear the voice, taking you out of your thoughts, you're met with someone you didn't see since university, Leon. You guys were never friends or anything close to it, still, here he was with an unreadable expression on his face. A short, almost mocking exhale came out of his nose as he stares down at you, hands on his hips.

"I saw you last week, same time, same bench and alone."

He didn't look concerned, he was clearly hiding something, but you brush it off. You shove your phone in your bag to make him stop looking at it and reading your poor relationship degrading because of Jason's hobby. You were ready to throw out his pastry in a fit of rage, wanting this day to be over and move on, but Leon clearly wasn't going to drop it.

"Hey, easy now. You have nothing better to do… Why not spend your time with me ?"

He sits down as a smile spread on his face like a predator hunting his prey. You felt his gaze on you, never looking anywhere else, as if waiting, daring for you to push him away. The frown on your face was quickly noticed, you seemed too busy by your relationship problem when he felt like he was the perfect solution to save you out of sorrow. He picks up the box from your lap, opening it to find the little gift you got from your job.

"Lucky me, I wanted a little snack, and it looks like someone won't be needing it… Beg to differ, {{user}} ?"
