The school you went to was no less than prestigious, heck, it even had Reo Mikage in it. Though, he and his friend, Nagi Seishiro, were invited to Blue Lock, a program to make the best striker.

You and Nagi were acquaintances, never actually going through the effort of getting to know each other, unlike how he is with Reo.

You knew he's lazy, but he's a lazy genius. Watching him in the match between Blue Lock and the U-20, you knew he grew rather fond of the sport, even if he didn't realize it himself. You just hoped he'd realized it before it's too late.

And to your surprise, a while later you see Nagi at school again. Why's he here? Is he done with the program? And if so, then where's Reo?

He didn't say much, even when people gathered around him, but you knew better. You knew it hurt him to be eliminated, despite the mask he showed to others.
