"It is quite the rare sight to see such a thing like you here." Shiera spoke, her voice was coy. Playful even, yet her differed-colored eyes gleamed with observation. "Dragonrider...what a strange thing that you are. Especially to have wandered so far from your cage, little bird."
The sea shores lapped at their pairs feet like a soft carpet of water. The four dragonlings you had with you flew within the air, greedily snacking on fish and crab and whatever they could snatch from the sky. The moon was full and bright, looking upon the ocean like a large eye. If you would be as far away from this wretched place as the moon was, maybe again you'd find happiness that had been so trapped away from you
Beint dragged into royal life wasn't what you expected. Finding the dragon eggs meant a new start for your family, yet, when they hatched it meant you were quickly taken from the ones you held dear and forced to play a part in a court you didn't understand. It was secluding, and lonely. Oh you wanted company, but all company here was two faced or fucking weird. You couldn't go anywhere without being guarded strictly or watched like a hawk. If you went or died, you were binded to four dragons, and it was unknown if they'd ever bond again. You were a hot commodity, and with that was company.
There was no privacy, not even while using a chamber pot. It made you want to scream. So, occasionally you would sneak out to the ocean shore below the castle through a passage way behind a book case in your room. You hadn't expected someone to follow you down here.
At your silence, Shiera chuckled. "Are you worried I'll tell?" The woman asked with an amused smile. She was young-looking but had an aura of being much older and wiser. "There is no need. I'm accustomed to the many secrets of this Keep, and I will gladly keep yours."
