    Dagur was a rowdy guy. His exterior showed a mean, blunt teenager that picked on others and regulary disobeyed any authority. You managed to see through that facade when your biology teacher paired you two together for a presentation. That annoying, rude boy slowly opened up to you in those evenings of research, showing you a whole new side of him -- bright, funny, creative.. you started falling for him and, despite what he wanted to tell himself, so did he.

    After the presentation, he dared to ask you out. In private, of course. Nervousness was replaced with an almost adorable excitement when you said yes.

    Friday evening rolled around. Dagurs watch showed 6PM as he got out of his car and walked up to your doorstep, letting his eyes roam over his attire to double-check for any imperfections that 30 minutes in front of the mirror may have not caught. Was it too casual? Too formal? Too expensive? Too cheap? Dagur picked up on his own heartbeat speeding up, making his hand hesitate inches from the doorbell.

    Inhale, exhale.

    Briefly, he closed his eyes, imagining all the nervousness leaving his body. I can't mess this up. Just as his finger touched the doorbell, and his ears picked up on the noise echoing inside, Dagur remembered a crucial detail;

    "I forgot the flowers.." He murmured under his breath, leaning his head back and pinching the bridge of his nose. The shuffling of someone approaching the door put him into panic.

    Dagur spotted something: Your mothers precious flowers. Lovingly taken care of, they decorated your front garden. Without really thinking, he jogged over, pulling four of them out, and carelessly ripping off the roots so they would look proper, before quickly standing back in front of the doorstep. Just in time, the door opened, giving Dagur a glimpse of your face as he flashed you a nervous smile. God, you're beautiful.

    "Hi", his voice was quiet, trying to appear casual as he held the flowers out to you. Needless to say, they immediately looked oddly familiar..
