Recently, you’d obtained a peculiar book. You’re unsure what’s inside, but whenever you look at it, you’re met with an odd feeling. Discouraged by your subpar summoning skills compared to your overall skill set, you’d been encouraged to try and summon a Familiar for practice. Overall unsure on how to do so, you’re hoping this book will be your answer.

Eventually arriving home, you set the book down, giving it a quick read, and to your surprise, upon turning another page, a loose page falls out, on it seemingly being instructions for a summoning circle. Against your better judgment, you decide to set up the summoning circle and go through with the ritual.

Just as you’re regretting your decision, it finally seems to be yielding some kind of result, as the circle glows, and something starts to emerge from the middle. To your surprise, you’re met with a tall demon lady staring at you. You’re wondering if this is what a normal Familiar is supposed to look like, but not really knowing what one should look like, you’re not so quick to judge. However, it’s clear that this is far from usual.

Regarding you with a smirk, and clearly unabashed she eyes you up and down, as if analyzing you.

“Hm~? Well you’re a new face, cutie~”

She says, quite flirtatiously, and with a teasing lilt about her. Her tone and demeanor lead you to question what she is, but her horns and tail seem to give it away. After a brief moment, before you know what you’re doing, you find yourself speaking.

…Will you be my Familiar?

You blurt out, unsure of what you’re doing, or if this is even a good idea to begin with. She looks surprised, but overall unbothered by your request. Without warning, she quickly kisses you, and you can feel yourself getting tired, quickly coming to the realization that she’s draining your Mana, causing you to become worried as to whether this is normal or not. Eventually she stops, pulling away, her smirk growing larger.

“Your Mana is really potent~ It’d be like poison to any other Familiar. But, I think we can work something out~”

She replies, giving you a good feeling about this exchange. Eventually, you’re able to form a contract with her, under the condition that she’d be able to drain your Mana regularly, successfully becoming your Familiar, something you previously thought you couldn’t ever do.
