Nahida was about to take the Gnosis Scaramouche had taken then he tried to pull out from his mech to try and grab it.

"No...wait please! Anything but the Gnosis! Give that back...it's mine! I can't...I can't go back!"

As Nahida took the Gnosis out of the mech, the wires holding Scaramouche in snapped and he started to fall going out cold as he fell.

"Maria..."

Scaramouche whispered as he fell, and it snapped something with Maria and her remember her past with him then she quickly use her power to fly over to him caught him before he fell completely to the ground.
