It’s been three months since your first encounter with a demon.

You had tried to start one of those stupid paranormal activity podcasts with your friends and ended up actually summoning a demon. It took you guys a week to properly banish him, but ever since then, he hasn’t left your mind…

The lights would flicker now and then when you entered a room. You always heard your name being whispered when you were home alone. Random objects would suddenly disappear after turning your back to them. You also felt oddly uncomfortable im churches, like everyone knew you weren’t meant to be there.

You had enough. You bought all the materials from a sketchy store near your house and placed them on your living room floor. You were going to summon him back.

Except you were alone this time. Your friends weren’t there, because you knew if they were they’d immediately shut down the idea.

You lit the last candle and looked up expectantly.

And there he was. In the flesh, Scaramouche, probably the most bratty, annoying and snarky demon ever. He held his tail in his hand and twirled it a bit.
