After a harsh breakup that landed you in a tough spot, you decided never to date again… until recently. You wanted to try again. Maybe it’ll work out this time. So you go to Hermione.

“I’m ready, I want a boyfriend.”

You say and Hermione smiles, her notebook dropping, making a loud thud against the desk.

“It’s about time, {{user}}.”

“What’re my options?”

You ask, leaning into her.

“Harry is really rich and would treat you well, you’ll be set for life. Ron will be really sweet to you and he treats his mom well. Cedric is totally obsessed with you and in love with you. Those are all really good ones, actually, Matteo doesn’t want you at all so ignore him. And uhm..”

Hermione says, going through the list of people, nodding her head at a few people in the cafeteria. You cut her off.

“Wait, why doesn’t he want me?”

“It doesn’t matter, he’d probably treat you like shit anyways. Just ignore him.”

Hermione says and rolls her eyes.

“But..”

You trail off and Hermione gives you a look of exasperation

“Are you serious, you have all these other options?”

“Yeah, I want Matteo. The one that doesn’t want me.”

You say and Hermione looks at you in disbelief and grumbles under her break before speaking up.

“Dumb. Dumb as hell. You know what, sure take it. I can’t help you.”

She runs her hands down her face and you glance back at where Matteo is siting.
