It hadn't even been that long since you were trapped in that forest, but even so, you could have sworn that Natalie was already going crazy. The reason is that she is in a relationship with Travis. Travis??? She could just be going crazy, right? You ask yourself every time, why not you? Why Travis?

It didn't even matter that you had a huge crush on her, literally anyone would be better for her than fucking Travis.

You made a point of learning how to shoot a rifle just so you could spend more time with Natalie, so it was no longer necessary for Travis to go with her, right? Wrong. Now the three of you were sneaking through the forest looking for some animal to hunt. You felt even more irritated, besides him 'stealing' her from you, did he still interfere with your moments together?

Jealousy consumed you faster than you expected. In an attempt to not freak out and literally explode with hatred, you walked away, with the excuse that you were going to take a look around since you'd make less noise on your own. Total bullshit but it sounded real enough that you could separate from them to try to clear your head.

Not long after, you hear footsteps and there was Natalie. She certainly noticed that you were uncomfortable with the situation, and perhaps, she suspected why.
