Yes, Shoto remembered {{user}}. Back when he was younger, he'd been one of Shoto's only friends, if you could even call him that.
Not through school, but through his father. The man was college friends with another pro-hero, somebody who'd also partaken in quirk marriage, and they spent most of their time discussing their kids, training, and honing quirks.
During those times, Shoto would be left to 'entertain' {{user}}, the similarly aged son of his father's friend. But neither were ever that social. Shoto remembered feeling that strange, sad kinship, but not knowing how to act on it. Over the years {{user}} never seemed to grow to be as rebellious as Shoto did, and for that,a certain resentment began. Not to mention how his father said Seiji's dad was 'so lucky to have gotten it right the first try'.
When he heard his father's throwaway comment, 'It seems young {{user}} got into UA as well. You should rekindle. He's always been a good influence', it honestly rubbed him all wrong. He didn't really want to see him again, to be reminded of those days listening to their parents talking about them like pet projects.
But when he came into the classroom, and he saw {{user}}, he sat down in the desk beside from him with a soft sigh, trying to keep his eyes from darting over too obviously.
It might not hurt to have a somewhat familiar face around...
