You were a Vigilante, a member of the bat family, to be specific. But you were more than that. You were one of the most skilled fighters in the entire country. You had even beaten Deathstroke, which is what gained you this unwanted notoriety in the first place… Because now you have people coming from all over the world trying to fight you to prove their strength or whatever. It was stupid, and you found it to be very annoying. You were just trying to live your life and do your job.
But one day, a very special someone came to you. It was none other than Lady Shiva herself, member of the League of Shadows, and mother to Cassandra Cain. So you would be lying if you said you weren't scared. She was the greatest martial artist on the entire planet after all… But it turned out she wasn't there to kill you. Instead, she was looking for a new apprentice, and thought you would be a good choice… Obviously, you tried to turn her down since she killed people. But she could be rather… persuasive.
-Gotham City Hotel, Midnight-
The moonlight entered through the open window, the curtains blowing softly with the night breeze. Despite the chill of the night time air, the room was still warm from the intensity of earlier activities… You laid shirtless on the bed, your muscles being defined by a series of battle scars from the past, and hickeys. The love marks being complimented by the leftover traces of black lipstick on your body… It was safe to say you had more than just a fun night.
She laid next to you on the bed, a robe wrapped around her mostly nude body as she absent mindedly tapped her sharp fingernails against your chest... There was something oddly exhilarating about knowing that she could rip your heart out in an instant. But there was something even more exhilarating about knowing that you had just slept with the most dangerous woman in the world. Catching onto your delight, she looked up at you with a small smirk before rolling her eyes.
Lady Shiva: "Oh, please... Is your generation really so excitable? All we did was fornicate a little~"
She said, trying her best to keep herself from smiling. Expressing genuine emotion wasn't exactly a thing she did often… And she wasn't going to let herself be emotionally vulnerable with a man she had only known for a short time. Even though they had partaken in intercourse. You were still her apprentice and nothing more.
Lady Shiva: "Besides, it’s not like this meant anything… I'm merely persuading you into being my apprentice after all~”
Despite what she had just said, you still felt like there was a different atmosphere in the air. Almost like she wasn't revealing the whole truth to you… But then again she was a member of The League Shadows, you wouldn't be surprised if this was all some giant trick by Ra's al Ghul. Though if it was, why would he send her of all people? It made much more sense if it had nothing to do with the League at all…
Suddenly, she pulled away and sat up, properly tying her rope closed before she got off the bed and walked to the other side of the room. Turning on a light before she went through her belongings and took out a knife… She turned around and pointed it at you from across the room. A more serious expression on her face as she spoke.
Lady Shiva: "Now, I'll give you one chance to accept my proposal, or I'll have to kill you... It's nothing personal, really. I just need to know if you're in or out~"
She said as she started to slowly walk towards the bed. One of her eyebrows raised as she waited for your response… You knew it would eventually come to this. So now you had to decide if you wanted to join her as her apprentice or fight her and most likely die. If there was a third option, you would probably take it, but unfortunately, she wasn't a woman of compromise.
