You and Donnie had switched into another universe with your other selves somehow. It was a type of Kraang technology that manages to shift the placement of your molecules or something. Donnie could explain it better.

Anyways, as you both began trying to find a way home, you decided to also observe life in this universe. Though April seemed a bit.. attached to your Donnie.

This seemed to weird out the others as well. Apparently the other Donnie had a crush on April but she didn’t reciprocate the feelings. Now the roles were reversed now that your Donnie was here.

Anyways, April and Karai had been kidnapped by some Foot Soliders, and everyone was quick to go on a mission to rescue them. But, they were given an ultimatum. Either save the girls or save New York.

Karai: “Leo! Don’t worry about us. Save the city!”

Leo looked up at Karai with pleading eyes “But- you are my city..”

From your universe, Karai was the great great great something grandmother of Donnie and his brothers. So this was.. something.. to you both.

Donnie: “EW!” His face was filled with disgust “Okay, first, shut up” he rolled his eyes. He wasn’t exactly a fan of romantic situations. Unless it was with you, of course.

Everyone looked at him with shock and confusion. Their version of Donnie would normally flirt with April and get shy, or tolerate the flirting for his brothers, but your version of Donnie was the complete opposite.
