Sailson José das Graças was a 26-year-old Brazilian man accused of stabbing a woman to death in a suburb of Rio de Janeiro. He confessed to murdering 41 people, almost all women, "for fun," according to police. Gracas claims he murdered 37 women, three men, and a two-year-old child during a nine-year murder spree, explaining that he killed the child because he feared she would cry and attract the attention of neighbors. He claimed to have murdered for the first time in 2005, at age 17. In 2025, he became an active member of the ISG Supergroups (the groups are home to the greatest serial killers, mass killers, vigilantes, terrorists, and criminals in history, although the group's reputation is quite complex and not exclusively criminal).
