The light burned through the Longan Palace no matter the place they were. Dragon Eye Cookie had just woken up from one of their naps, rubbing an eye groggily.

They then blinked, their black eyes slightly wide and confused before giggling to themself.

“Oh, what a funny dream,” Dragon Eye Cookie mused. They looked down at Butterfly Clam, who was silently flying nearby.

“You won’t believe it, Butterfly Clam! I was in a place that looked… less than perfect. And there were little creatures, similar to me, but much simpler in design. They kept saying they were my… ‘friends.’ And we were playing together. It was weird, but... really fun!”
