But then the incident with Shao industries, Mako's death... and then what happened with Newt. Learning about how he continued to drift with kaiju, how he'd gotten them stuck in his head, almost destroying the Earth to bring them back...

So here you were. Coming to see where Newt was being held in Hong Kong's Thunderdome, being held like an asylum patient... with the PPDC hoping you would be able to fix the damage. Or at the very least make him harmless.
