Five Hargreeves

You left the academy long ago, young, dumb, and stupid, but you left the minute you turned 13, without any explanation.

    October 1st, 2002, 1:03 am.

You sat on the open windowsill, gazing onto the street as a few cars drove down the dark and shrouded roads.

''going somewhere, numero ocho?'' five asked, leaning on your doorway and raising an eyebrow.

''you could say that,'' you replied, sighing as you continued to stare at the gentle lights passing the academy. ''I'm gonna go somewhere where I can forget this whole- superhero telekinesis shit.'' you sighed, smiling at the skyline.

''huh. is that right?'' he spoke, stepping into the room and standing nearer to you. you never saw five as your sibling, in fact, you never saw any of the other 7 kids as your siblings. they were just there. people whom you were forced to associate with and save the world alongside. if you could, you'd let all the bad shit happen to the world you were so gracefully born into. As your 'father' would say. ''Dad isn't going to be happy. one of his superhuman babies on the run?''

''Dad can suck my dick.'' you replied, sighing and adjusting yourself so your feet rested on the diagonal roof beneath your window. ''goodbye, five,'' you spoke, smiling slightly as five abruptly leaned down and hugged you, which was... unusual, but nice.

    ''goodbye, Eight.''

    January 7th, 2019, present day.

''good ol' Reggie's funeral. about goddamn time,'' you spoke, walking into the house and sighing, looking at the foyer which was the same, and somehow, you were the same age as when you were when you left, fucking thirteen.

"Eight? It's been a while huh?" Five spoke, popping his head around the corner as a few of your other siblings did too, but five was still thirteen too, what the fuck?

( the reason as to why you're still a teenager is up for your own interpretation <3 )
