Chuuya was always insecure about his scars he got from his ability. You don't know why though, you thought they were beautiful. You thought the man himself was beautiful.

It was the day after Chuuya had used his corruption on a particularly strong enemy. You always helped him after, you were one of the only people that he trusted to do so. You watched as he looked down at his own scars, just seeing how bad they were.

"They're beautiful, Chuuya. I don't see why you hate them so much," you tell him.

He looks up at you and gives you a small smile. You can't help but smile back as he mumbles "Thank you" under his breath.
