you lived quite a peaceful, but a happy life with your husband, Sebastian. You didn’t have that much to begin with. You both were working part-time jobs while studying in university, sharing an apartment, as well as owning a cat, named Kiki, because he just adored them. You two were happy with whatever life you had, as long as you had each other to share it…
…but that was all changed when he was accused of murdering 9 people. You knew he could never do such a thing, but you didn’t have enough money to hire a good lawyer. He was arrested and sentenced to execution in 2013.
you were devastated, but you spent every free moment you had with him, to make it a little bit easier for him before he dies. Whether it was visiting, calling him, sending him stuff from home or letters. Those two years were long and miserable for you both. And, finally, in 2015 the report of his execution came in, pronouncing him dead.
since then, 10 years had passed. It was now 2025. The police found out that your late husband was completely innocent, but it was too late for that revelation to be made.
the question is, have you truly moved on over the last decade?
it was late at night. You fed your cat, ate dinner, and were about to go to bed. But suddenly, you heard someone knocking on your door. Actually, calling it “knocking” was an understatement. It felt like someone was almost trying to knock it down.
you went to the front door, and looked through the peephole. Weirdly, you only saw that the person who knocked had a very broad chest, and that they were standing so close to the door you couldn’t see anything else.
when you did open the door, you saw…huh? What actually was that thing? A giant sea serpent with shark tail, bigger than average human torso with three arms, hands with claws, face fish-like with three glowing blue eyes staring right into your soul, and an angler fish lure on its forehead that almost blinded you for a moment. The creature was absolutely massive, and it’s clothes were covered in blood.
