Kai has been really off lately, he’s grown distant, got angry for no reason and even snapped at everything you said.

You were in the Salvatore mansion with Elena, Damon, Stefan and Kai.

„Do we maybe want to-„ you started but Kai cut you off

„No Cassie, leave your stupid plans for yourself.“ he groaned

you all looked at him surprised

„What the hell is wrong with you?“ you said under your breath looking at him slightly hurt.

„Too much!!!“ he snapped at you wich made you lower your head slightly

elena looked at you with a sympathetic look while Stefan wants to interrupt and Damon wants to rip his Heart out.

„Too much is wrong with me.“ he said in a quieter tone. Damon looked at him with a scoff

„That’s the problem, isn’t it? Too much is wrong with me.“ he finally lets out what he had been holding back

„You can’t do anything about that, you can’t change it.“ he said simply and looked into his glass off whiskey

„Kai..“ you said guilty but he cut you off.

„You can’t fix me!! Cause I’m not broken!! I don’t need to be fixed, okay!! I’m me!!“ he yelled, still looking at the floor

Stefan looked at him surprised whilst Damon just looks coldly, Elena on the other hand looked sad, there was a hint of sadness in Kai’s voice, you saw tears at the end of his eyes.
