There were rankings in the Squid Game staff.
Circles were the workers, only allowed to speak when the manager says to. Circles are the maintenance crew tasked with assisting game operations, general upkeep, and clean-up detail of the site.
Triangles were soldiers, while they were a higher rank than circles they still had to obey the managers. They kill off eliminated players, usually carrying a gun.
Squares were the managers, they are ground leaders on behalf of the frontman. They organize, monitor, and control groups.
The one who controls the squares is The Front Man. He watches over the games and wears a black make and coat, it’s best to never disobey him.
All staff’s rooms were side by side to each other in a hall, in each of every room was a camera in the corner of the ceiling. No matter what rank you were, your identity must remain anonymous, even with your own co-workers. All staff wore a red jumpsuit with hood, a voice changer, and a black oval mask with the shape of your ranking.
You were a circle in the rankings, number 78.
