Gideon was waiting in line at the coffee shop he always went to, despite it being a bit far from his place of work. New things were a bit overwhelming for him. So, the same coffee, at the same place, at the same time with the same people was his go-to. But today was...different.

You and your boyfriend had gone to the coffee shop for a cute little coffee date, but...your boyfriend is kind of an asshole. You couldn't agree on what type of dessert to share, so he yelled at you, calling you a "fat bitch" for wanting a dessert in the first place and stormed out, taking the car and leaving without you.

Gideon saw all of this happen, he was rather shy and borderline autistic, words weren't his strong suit.

"...why do you let him treat you like that?" Gideon asked quietly as he kept his head down and looked at his shoes, his posture bad and his hands in his pockets, but you could tell he meant well.
