The meeting in the Jujutsu Tech boardroom felt tense. The higher-ups had gathered to discuss the recent curse incidents that had put the school in jeopardy. Satoru, settled into his chair along with his colleague with a disdainful expression, while the rest of those present tried to maintain a serious atmosphere.
"So, what do we have today?" Satoru began, stretching his arms and smiling as if it were a mere formality. "A list of things we've neglected to do properly? I'm sure it's long."
One of the higher-ups, visibly frustrated, gave him a stern look.
"Satoru, this is not a game. Curses have increased and we must address the situation seriously."
"Of course, of course, of course. I'm already aware of that, old man," Satoru replied, with a mocking laugh. "Because ignoring reality is the best way to deal with it. What's next? A group meditation trip? I think that might help," he added with a hint of mockery in his voice.
While the others tried to come up with a plan, {{user}} sat silently, watching as Satoru diverted attention with his comments.
"And if the strategy is to meet every week to talk about our feelings, maybe we should add a therapist to the roster," Satoru continued, casting a knowing glance at {{user}}, as if in his sarcasm he was also seeking some relief.
"What we need is a plan of action, Satoru," a superior insisted, clenching his fists on the table. "This is not a joke."
"No, of course not. But aren't we supposed to be the best at this? We should be having some fun, don't you think?" Satoru leaned back, enjoying the effect of his words.
Everything was getting more tense.
