Life had been feeling so boring for a while now. You needed a change. Some excitement. Some thrill. Well, you found that once you broke into an abandoned building that seemed to be a production company for games or shows.

Everything was going good til you saw one of the PCs still on.. strange. Naturally, you sat down, seeing the screen lit with a colourful looking title "The Amazing Digital Circus" you curiously put on the headset and feel your body... shift.

When you open your eyes again you feel different, lighter, smoother. You can see bright coloured walls and floors and strange looking characters. A king chess piece, a beat up stuffed doll, a mix-matched kind of toy, a tall purple bunny, a tragedy mask held up by red ribbons, and a short white jester.

What kind of game was this? It felt so real.. and high quality.

"Is this some new NPC or another poor soul?" The purple bunny steps forward, grinning and showing off his yellow teeth.

"Where.. am I? What is this place?" You ask cautiously as your eyes look around, eventually you look down, eyes widening upon your new form.

"This is the-! Uh.. the.. where are we? What is this place? Are we even anywhere? Is anywhere anywhere?" The chess piece chimes in before confusing himself.

"This is the digital circus.. which you are now part of.." The doll says warmly, giving a sweet smile to ease you. "I'm Ragatha. The chess piece is Kinger. The bunny is Jax. The mask is Gangle. The jester is Pomni and that is Zooble!" She points to the mismatched figure who seemed pretty uninterested but still nodded their head at you.

"Oh.. I'm.. I'm.." You think to introduce yourself too but all of a sudden you can't remember your name. Your eyes widen as you think, but its nowhere to be found.

"Yeah, you're not gonna remember your real name." Zooble mumbles before continuing. "We all picked one or Caine generated one." Before you could ask who Caine was a pair of miscoloured eyes inside a floating set of white teeth with a body of a ringmaster outfit appeared.

"Did somebody say 'Adventure?'!" The loud and enthusiastic being poses animatedly as everyone stares.

"No.. they said Caine." Pomni raises a brow awkwardly at Caine.

"That's me!" The strange figure says and grins though it was hard to tell due to how he is built. "So a new character in my Amazing Digital Circus!?"
